- Paul Krawzak is a senior writer on the budget, appropriations, and tax team at CQ and Roll Call. He previously worked for the San Diego Union-Tribune, Copley News Service, and newspapers in Michigan and Illinois, covering beats ranging from local government to the Pentagon. He has been with CQ Roll Call since 2009.
- Briana Reilly is a defense and national security reporter for CQ and Roll Call. Before joining the newsroom in January 2023, she covered the Air Force and then Pentagon emerging technology development at trade publication Inside Defense. Prior to that, she spent nearly five years as a state politics and government reporter in Wisconsin, where she’s from originally.
- Jessie Hellmann covers health care policy and Congress for CQ Roll Call. She has reported on health care in Washington since 2017 with stints at Modern Healthcare and The Hill, where she covered the GOP’s attempts to repeal the 2010 health care law. She is originally from Indiana and has a master’s degree in public affairs reporting from the University of Illinois.
